Think Hydrogen

Just to give you some indicative values for Germany to get a feeling where we stand with respect to renewables:

About 83 mio people in Germany with roughly 100 kWh energy consumption per day (comprising all sectors, i.e. electricity, industry, heating, traffic) add up to 3000 TWh per year in total.

Thereof 238 TWh (8%) are based on renewables like wind, solar, biomass, hydropower (source: www.energy-charts.de (2019)). In future renewables can and need to provide much more energy at large. However adequate energy storage capacities need to be in place. Let´s think about hydrogen…
